Intentionally Thankful
Thankful for Shawn's honesty and kind heart to give me what I want; his protective nature (protective of my emotional and physical well being); and that does not want me serving on my birthday, but rather to be served (whether circumstances allow that or not it is a wonderful expression of kindness and love).
Thankful for God answering our prayers last night; Megan's back slipped back in place and giving her relief.
Thankful for Pastor Lisa and Nissa for preparing preschool lessons at church and doing the prep work and equipping me and the other teachers.
Thank you God for protecting my home. That I did NOT catch the house on fire, when I forgot about the tea bags boiling on the stove, burning them up and nearly catching them and the pot on fire. Thankful I smelled smoke. Thankful for Shawn's patience, and for his practical admonition to always set a timer!
