1. Indoor shoes. I need some replacement for my size-10 hard plastic shower slippers that I wear every day at work in the freezing, drafty English room. It's rude to wear outdoor shoes inside, but the look of indoor shoes is almost indistinguishable from outdoor shoes largely. I think loafers are the best bet for something that doesn't look stupid & won't hurt my feet all day/ fall off and trip me on the stairs semi-weekly/do nothing to keep my toes warm/actually fit my feet. Crocs might do too. I'm size 13 USA. (It's the size that I can't find out here. I'll definitely order a pair if I don't get any for Christmas.)
2. Money. I'm going to buy my own DSLR soon so that I can take some real pictures while I'm here. If you'd like to contribute to this gift for myself (thus making it a partial gift from you), I wouldn't mind the help. They can be expensive. If you want to deposit money into my Virginia Credit Union account (US checks), then that is a great way to get money.
3. Vests. I like vests & I am looking for more. I usually check out Goodwill for any I can find, though vest measurements are pretty rough-shot & I don't have many clothes that fit me snugly. All the vests I currently own are Medium, but they vary from fitting just right to being many inches too wide. In case it helps at all my measurements are:
neck = 15.75"
chest = 37"
waist = 34"
hip = 40"
shoulder length = 16.5"
4. "Night Watch" by Terry Pratchett (not like I need any more books!)
5. A transportable digital music player of some kind & a good set of ear buds.
6. Men's leggings (something I can wear under my pants... or with shorts to exercise/ play volleyball in the winter)
