Plumb line scriptures

Romans 12:9-21;
I Corinthians 13:4-7;
Galatians 5:13-17;
Galatians 5:22-26;
Colossians 3:9b-10, 12-17;
John 13:34-35;
Luke 6:27-37; and
Luke 6:41-42
(not disregarding remainder and context of the whole of the Bible)

These scriptures comprise the plumb line of my life; affecting the way I interact with others, and the standard (attitude, words, and actions) I hold myself to. They inform me when I am growing in relationship with God in His righteousness and when I'm not.

I most certainly don't always line up with according to this standard, but to quote the Apostle Paul, "Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus."
Philippians 3:12 NASB

This is posted mostly as a reminder to myself of why I don't say, or do things or why I do.  Why I adjust my attitude and behaviors for others without demanding the same in return.  Because it is about who I am, the adopted daughter of God, a Christian, Christ follower graciously lovingly purchased at a very high price, a sinner saved by grace, a bond servant of the most high God; and as such I willingly follow after God and strive to live my life in ways that show my love, appreciation, honor, and worship of the God who loves this little human being, with a powerful Father God type love.
