For the first time in decades a deer hit my car. She was running fast burst across the road and tagged my bumper. Nothing too major. It just feels weird to actually hit a deer. It isn't road worthy but I'm thankful I wasn't hurt and the damage wasn't a lot worse. It is just an inconvenience. Still it feels weird emotionally to have hit a deer after so many years of near misses.
It feels weird - Oddly like a season has past (that may not be a rational feeling but that is what it feels like).
