Beach Vacation - Day 6 (last day / Tue Sept 2nd)

BONUS DAY!
That is what day 6 felt like! Most of the world was back to work and the school year was starting and here we were AT THE BEACH!!!!

What a joyful and delightful privilege!!

We worked as the awesome family team that we are at tearing down camp in the intense heat.

 

Then after that to the beach!!

The three of us almost immediately jumped in the water and played. Jumping up and over Daddy-Shawn's shoulder, splash fighting and laughing and having a great time. It was a hot hot day and the water was cool enough to cool you off but warm enough to stay in it.

The heat was intense!
95-100 at 5pm - and I felt it.

Just one last chilled out day before heading home. 

Only one very frustrating and sad thing for me. One of the sapphires in my forever ring got lost in the ocean it fell out. It's just awful for me - we will eventually get it fixed and get the stone  replaced… It was still a good day but that was an awful moment for me

It has been an absolutely relaxing and wonderful and long vacation.
I am so thankful for the time to unwind and mostly unplug and to knit. I didn't finish my sweater but made a lot of progress and learned somethings about knitting.



One last dip in the water before heading home...
