After we got to the beach in the morning we saw a small pod of dolphin with a little one, which we are fairly sure was a baby. So neat! They all stayed near the surface and I was able to watch them "close up" through the binoculars.
Around noon we went for a walk along the shore.
We saw and picked up a little female blue crab!!! It was really cool!!
We all three enjoyed the walk - looking at shells, sea worn stones, babies, dogs, etc.
It was Sunday of the Labor Day weekend and the area near the day parking boardwalk was pretty full of groups, families and dogs.

Megan and Daddy
Silly silly-heads :-)
Daddy-Shawn went to the grocery in the afternoon and brought us blue crab dip, which I thought was funny because we had seem and picked up an actual blue crab earlier.
The blue crab spread was delicious!!
We stayed on the beach late to watch the sunset which was very beautiful!
As the sun was setting many many dragon flies - hundreds of them - a continuous stream of them - flew in from the Oceanside. It was curious and kinda cool. (didn't get any pictures of the dragonflies)
Shawn stayed up reading for a while and Megan stayed up even later watching and playing with the campfire.
The campground was full of groups staying up late enjoying their Labor Day weekend.
It was also a hot humid night.
Megan and Shawn had a hard time sleeping (mostly due to the heat).
It was another good relaxing day!
