Took Shawn out for a birthday dinner at Outback Steak House so he could have a good steak and not have to cook it himself. And we (me, Megan & Shawn) had a great time.
I had "baked" a cherry pie for him for dessert and Megan finished doing the crumb topping as I was leaving to go to my sister's home.
It was a long drive to my sister's because I was so tired, but I arrived safely and was glad to have been there in the morning.
My nieces surgery went well. Brian and I went to the grocery just the two of us IN THE WHITE TRUCK!!! :-) Junk Food Dinner around my sister's dining room table FUN FUN FUN. Worked on Molly's and JoJo's back while the dogs barked worriedly it was cute! Left late to head home.
Tue AM came too quickly after a "nap" and began with urgent work emails. A 12 hours work day at my home office. Then crashed soon after that.
Wed AM my body finally felt the effects of the whirlwind days. Arrived late into the office, but in good spirits and grateful that I was able to do these things.
