Yesterday was a GREAT day. I am so glad that I made the time for a day trip to NoVA to spend time with my parents.
Today is Shawn's birthday. It is also the Lord's Day (Sunday, Day of Worship). It is also the first Sunday of the month which means that we have Prayer Meeting in the afternoon.
Tonight I drive to my sister's home to be a helper while my niece has surgery on her hand.
Last night the clocks turned back and supposedly I had an extra hour to sleep. Fall allergies have it our home. My eyes and throat were burning and I had that allergy cough so I took an antihistamine and I think Shawn's fall allergies must have been acting up last night too because he keep having bouts of loud snoring, which woke me up several times.
So it is going to be a great day, but I wake up feeling tired and grumpy and wanting to climb back into bed for another 3 hours.
I have now had my first cup of coffee second is hot and ready. I think I will just take things one step at a time, and try to enjoy each thing.
I am excited to Worship. I am passionate about prayer. I love to celebrate my husband. I am glad I can be of a little bit of help for my sister. All of these things are GOOD things.
... now to get to that second cup of coffee and jump into my day ...
