Complaining instead of praying

NOTES from AM bible study (unedited)

When we question God's Goodness, Justice, and Rightness ... we elevate ourselves over the Lord ... the Lord reminded Job He and only He was Sovereign and fully all knowing and all powerful... and we see God's patience and mercy in His response to Job's demand for an answer for what Job perceived as unjustified suffering...God's answer is a bit harsh maybe, a bit sarcastic and definitely puts Job back in his place, but it is God's patience and love that responded to Job reminding him of the bigger God in control of everything ... God's response sounds harsh, but it really wasn't ... it was reminding Job that He was in control and His justice had a far wider angle of perception than Jobs little perception of terrible suffering ... this is a warning about complaint (even what we may consider justified complaint) - TAKE AWAY - before we bring our need bring our since Thanksgiving and Praise lest our prayers turn to complaint driven demands  - - -

""Will the one who contends with the Almighty correct him? Let him who accuses God answer him!" Then Job answered the LORD: "I am unworthy—how can I reply to you? I put my hand over my mouth. I spoke once, but I have no answer— twice, but I will say no more." Then the LORD spoke to Job out of the storm: "Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me. "Would you discredit my justice? Would you condemn me to justify yourself?"
