We started the day sitting on the screened in back deck listening to the birds sing, Jo and I drinking coffee. Had a nice slow paced (but not lazy) peaceful morning. Biscuits and Strawberry Preserves for breakfast with Shawn. Hung out for a bit. Brian listened to Phil Collins. Then Brain and I gave the ducks treats, food, and fresh water. After that we got dressed and left for our treat. A mani/pedi for JoJo and I and pedicure for Brian. Went to Target, and the farm market, then back home for lunch.
After lunch we relaxed in the yellow room and watched a couple of episodes of Brian Games while we rested.
Coffee, veggie snacks, and crafting was next. All three of us sat down at the dining room table and used fabric paint to decorate small tote bags. Simple easy crafting but oh so fun; and I think they turned out really cute.
By then it was time to fix dinner. Brian and I cooked peppers, onions, and smoked sausage and we served it with veggie pasta. We ate dinner with Shawn and Brian was great entertainment. His humor and comic timing was spot on!
Jo and I made pretty quick work of cleaning up the dishes and dinner mess.
We retired to the yellow room and zoned out with TV and devises. Brian got a bath and headed to bed before Jo and I did.
It really was a very nice pampered fun joyful peaceful day!
