New and very real friendship is still possible. I am thankful for my friend Melissa Landini. It has been ages since I had a friend that I spent all day with. Who let me drop by, invite myself to dinner, who welcomes me in her life, listens and speaks honestly and without hypocrisy.
We are different. I am more than a decade older than her. She has young kids mine are grown and living their own lives. She is a talented creative artist.
We are also alike. Both of us a bit prone to extremes while still striving for balance. We both love God, the Word of God (bible), and are Spirit filled Chritians with a biblical world view. We share some common interests.
We were paired is teaching partners with my daughter moved to Northern Virginia. I instantly liked her. She's a great teaching partner. Just truly genuine person.
Friendship
Today I learned. Something I think I already knew. I learned that real friendship is possible - Always - In every season of life.
