A morning prayer

God, it is far more important for me to show your character in response to every circumstance I experience, than for me to  succeed, or be efficient, or live up to a standard.  I know that you want me to live with integrity and to work hard to please both you and people, do have excellence and righteousness.  However, I know the highest calling is to display in my attitude and my emotions, the hope in which and by which I stand. My hope is in you. I know that my thoughts, words and actions will line up with my attitude, or more accurately with my "Sam to Sam" dialogue.

God I want to do well, be well, and be efficient and successful, but first Lord I set as my priority, to trust you, come what may today, and to direct my "inner" dialogue back to what the bible says about who you are and what is eternally true and what is eternally valuable. This is no easy task Lord, so I am asking for your help. In You and in Your perfect Will nothing is impossible.  

Thank you for crossing the impossible gap for me.  Thank you for rescuing me from the eternal penalty of my sins, and for giving me eternal life (a life of the Spirit which had power mighty enough to overcome sin, death, and bring hope and peace, and Your Kingdom - namely your will done on earth. 

Jesus, these are lofty words and goals but I mean them as sincerely as I am capable of being.  Please continue to pray for me and let me be aware of the Holy Spirits guidance as He reminds me of your Word and teaches me, moment to moment in every circumstance. 

May my life be so full of your hope and goodness that it draws people to You. 

I love you Father! Thank you for loving me and for fresh manna and fresh mercies this morning.

Families that need healing and reconciliation 

People sick need healing and health

People in surgical procedures, skilled hands assigned to them and your healin

Jobs 

Marriages - heal souls and mend and rebond 

Protection for those traveling

Wisdom 

Grap the attention of  the distracted

Bring revelation to the deceived 

Soften the hearts of loved ones that your love may penetrate and revive.  

May the children trust you and know you so well 

May I live to see the children set the Church on fire for you by their faith, trust and sincere devoted surrendered souls lives redeemed and rooted in You.
