At the last minute, we decided to drive up to NoVA Friday night for dinner with Justin, and Sarah and Megan.
Justin and Sarah had brought back perishable gifts from their 5-year Anniversary trip to the Bahamas, so we put out a lot of food for the animals and drove up.
Justin took us to an Afghan restaurant and we had decious food.
We went back and hung out at Justin's place.
Then we decided to sleep over at Megan's place.
Saturday we had a lazy morning.
Called NeewNaw and PawPaw and met them for an early dinner, before heading home.
Saturday Justin was taking care of Sarah who had hurt her neck pretty severely. Poor Sarah. We hope she feels better soon. Obviously they did not join us for early dinner.
We had a FEAST at PF Changs, and we were so glad NeeNaw and PawPaw could join us for a spontaneous early dinner with us!
We stopped by Megan's for coffee and recoup before heading home. We sat relaxed, listened to music, (Shawn napped), and sipped coffee.
What a nice quick trip!!!
