The sinful disease of pride is sneaky and insidious. It lies - both to ourselves (inward deceptions that keep us stuck in unhealthy thoughts and behaviors) and to others (outwardly misrepresenting ourselves out of self protection or promotion). I don't need pride. I need God. He is the fulfillment of my needs in the midst of want and in the midst of plenty. Oh that I would learn more and more to be content, meek and humble in full assurance of who God is, and where I am positioned in relationship with Him. ONLY THEN will I be able to say I can do all things through Him who gives me strength.
