Week of March 16-22 2015

Just a little journal recap ... 

Early in the week I had a good day at work.  A day where I could see evidence that I made a difference, that I still had something to contribute and that my contributions made a positive difference. 

I also enjoyed talking to Justin on the phone early in the week.  I miss him so much!!

I called and enjoyed a good conversation with my sister on her birthday.  I am thankful that we are connecting more often.  I love her! 

Also got my hair cut on her birthday, and dressed up for St Patrick's day.

After my color and shape up.  I love how fluffy Maria made my curls.  I wish I could do my hair half as well as she does.

Wednesday, I went to church to pray at 6pm, and hung around during the leadership meeting.

By Thursday I was running out of steam fast and by Friday I was the kind of tired that makes me easily distracted and "stuck" but I had a good day. 

Friday, great morning bible study on the potter and the clay. Worked at home in the morning, then I went to the office picked up a few things to finish a couple of quotes and met my friend Dee (Deandra Parks) at Panera for lunch.  I just love this lady!!  I really enjoyed the time for us to sit and share!  

Saturday I spent all day doing research into a Northwest Coast road trip for Shawn and I. It was so fun to plan like this, but there is so much to see in so little time.  Now we have to decide if we can afford it and if we do the mostly from the car drive thru road trip or skip a bunch of things and do a little bit of exploring. 

Sunday, fought through self inflicted condemnation and anxiety; I pushed thru and had a great time at church. Prayer pre-service upstairs, followed by teaching downstairs.  Megan & I had the privilege to be in the toddler /preschool class this morning and learn about how Jesus is Lord (which means He is in charge and taking care of us) and how He loves a cheerful giver (someone who happily shares what they have) .  We gave God our best voices, talents and time today, by drawing Him pictures and banners, having a parade, singing happy thankful songs and sharing with our friends.  I love getting to play and learn my young friends.

After church went home then back out in the evening to go see All Sons and Daughters with Sarah Mccraken at A Night of Worship at PCC with Megan.  It was wonderful and I got to see several people  I know there (Sierra Smith, Pastor Daneyelle Boynes, David Elder...).  Felt honored that Beth Stoddard went out of her way to say hello to me.  She is a genuinely kind person. 

Sunday night I stayed up way too late hanging with Shawn in the living room after "dead people" went off. 


Now this Monday morning I am super zombie-fied.
Time to get this show on the road, but I wanted to journal to help me capture these moments into my memories.
