Beach Vacation day 1 Aug 28

Finally got on the road about 12:30noon
(I had a few hours of work-work to do in the morning)

YAY! We are here!! C1 & C2 great large connected sites. (3pm)

Shawn and Megan putting up the rain and shade tarps.

A couple of hours later we head to the beach, after an extremely efficient camp set up and a trip to the grocery.

Aahhhh...

We brought only a couple of towels and rested and enjoyed the beauty.

A beautiful sunset for our first night.

Shawn cooked us delicious bratwursts over charcoal. Megan cut and cooked the peppers and onions.
Mmmmm mmmmm good!!

(yay for verizon iPhone hot spot that let me stay with my family while I took care of an urgent time sensitive work-work issue)

After diner there was lots of giggles and laughter then everyone called it a night and went to bed about 10pm

(Only concerning thing is Shawn's key to the truck is MIA. I have my keys but we hope to find his soon)

PS keys were found in the morning!!'
