I had a good day yesterday.
Highlights:
going for a walk with JoJo, Molly, Brain, and Conner (puppy) saw bird in a nest, flowers, two frogs, MeMe (Linda) delighting Brian (and us) with the gift of meat loaf for a late lunch, Molly speaking girl duckie to Missy and cheering her up, laughing and some silliness with Annie Jo-Jo on our drive around, Brian helping fix meals, Molly doing my hair, and a surprise drop by visit from Justin. Lots of good stuff to treasure from yesterday.
footnote: not everything was wonderful about yesterday, but like panning for gold, I will keep my treasures and cast the rocks back on the shore.
Most of it was good, and I am truly thankful and refuse to cast aside my treasure over a few rocky moments.
No lecture intended - just noting that I don't have a perfect simple life, as it might seem when I make an account of the good stuff.
