Woke up Friday feeling better. Saturday I woke up really feeling better. Oh how great it is to be well after being sick for so long.
I spent a nice relaxing morning checking in with social networking, and browsing on-line. (Three coats purchased at really good prices are headed my way).
Then spent a couple of hours outside with the duckies. They were mostly happy and peaceful and the frogs were singing their love songs. It was such a very lovely time. Wonderfully peaceful. (I wish I had more time out there with them. I need to remember that a more disciplined life would allow me more time out there with them and with my family and friends too.)
Went to REFUEL at church - good stuff. Walked away with this key word for a revival/renewal focused church "TRANSFORMATIONAL". That is the heart of my prayers although I my heart does move like a mothers heart wanting all in the church and out to be fully healed of the wounds plague them (emotional, spiritual, and physical). The body of Christ needs to be transformed, but not at the expense of allowing the wounded ones to manipulate and monopolize all the resources. There is a clear priority in the letters of the apostles that puts first the emphasis on bring the Good News to the saved, but secondly to allowing the work of God to bring about sanctification (if this work is not evident then we must question our position with God). Anywhoooo..... "transformational" that is the center of my heart prayers for revival (true and lasting).
Meggy got a new car Woot Woot - thanks to the generosity of others, she could paid a down-payment and financed a bit at a monthly amount she could afford. Praising God for generous Godly people and for His provision to them and to her.
Shawn was home last night and we were so silly - like young kids - TV on and each of us playing a game on a electronic device, seeing who could get the highest score. Shawn was the big winner last night. I am thankful for time to just hang out and "do nothing" (or do unimportant yet fun things) together.
Getting ready for a long but exciting day with my church. Then to spend the night at Meggy's before heading to work on Monday (somehow I need to get my work work done too). I know it is the desire of God that we lay down our resistant ways and live Holy lives, but real and approachable lives as His ambassadors. I know that each of us has a calling and anointing from God but that we must chose to follow Him and do the work He calls us to do. Today is the LORDs day. Today we celebrate that the penalty for sin has been paid, and there is ever-lasting life through the Resurrection of Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. Death and sin have no power to those He has saved. There is Hope in the Truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and it may seem foolishness to some but I am praying that Father God removes the veil to their understanding. Today we celebrate a risen Christ, this is why we CHRISTians gather together on the first day of the week.
Okay time to get to it (to get ready for the next 48 hours).
